Our Open Garden Days are a chance for us to share the happiness our gardens bring us.
The Alvariño Norwood family invites you to join us in exploring our gardens. We will be continuing our open garden days this year, opening our gardens to the public for a few hours on the first Sunday from April - September. You don't need a ticket or a reservation, just come and wander through our 4+ acres of flower and vegetable gardens. Many of the plants will be labeled to help make your stroll as educational as inspiring.
We hope that our Open Garden Days will give people a chance to see how our gardens grow and evolve through the seasons. You will have a chance to see the sweet corn as the tassels go brown and the grinding corn as it soars way overhead. The okra will turn from a cute waist high strip in July to a towering grove by September. The raspberries will bloom and fruit. We are excited about allowing gardening enthusiasts and novices alike an opportunity to see how the gardens evolve from month to month.
We are cancelling all Open garden days until further notice.
Don't miss our guided tours!!! We will have a guided tour starting at 11AM and at 1PM. This is a great opportunity to learn a lot about the plants we have and have your questions answered by Frances.
